Here I am selling my uncles subaru impreza import wrxThis car was imported and parked in a dry barn for 10 years!We pulled her out,dusted off,turned over by hand multiple times,and was all happy,started up perfectly!Vehicle then had brakes all around.,new wheel bearing,heater matrix,4 néw tyres,wire brushed and every point checked,then wax oiled.Engine was pulled out to do head gaskets,heads were pressure tested and skimmed with new bolts and gaskets,cambelt,clutch,oil separater plate between flywheel and block!It's a very clean example of a scooby,no rot underneath,never welded,nothing covered up.It has a small patch of bubbling on one rear arch and another by airel,but apart from that it's realy good for her age!Car then went on a trip to llinconshire showground and back,[to modified nationals] and covered 430 miles with out a issue!He then went on and fitted the different year subaru seats still in light blue,he did keep the old ones if you want them too!It has now has a random tick on the engine when warm,not always there,checked ovbous things but was told it had some piston slap?you can decide that for your self?Temp gauge went up on last drive,had to wait to cool it down,mehcanic said thermostat was sticking,so I'd advise you change that before driving it far!Vehicle is motd but not taxed + insurance would be needed to road test!Definitely worth a look if your into scoobys!ALSO..on a nice set of coilovers,with paperworkGive chris a ring or txt on 07551394087 Continue reading...
