Toyota MR2 For Sale

After 20 years of proud ownership the time has come to sell my MR2. I'm not using it as much as I did, and I fancy a camper.The car has, as far as I'm aware, always been garaged, which has contributed to its remarkable condition. For me it has been a summer toy, so hasn't seen a salty road or much rain over the last 20 years. The bodywork is generally excellent, with the paintwork still a good strong red. The engine is great, the T-VIS kicks in as it should. No leaks anywhere, the last I had to fix was through the distributor, so there's a new seal and bearing in there. This year's work included a precautionary replacement of all the fuel injector O rings and rocker cover gaskets.The car still has its original radio, working electric aerial, decals, number plates* and tax disk holder, and Toyota tool roll, as well as a full set of five teardrop alloys. (These are in the garage, and not on the car as the rubber is now 20 years old and would need replacing, but they will come with the car.) So if you wanted to you could put it back to appearing exactly as it left Reading Toyota.The car is currently on Borbet alloys with Toyota centre caps. I purchased five to have a matching spare but generally only use the space-saver to increase boot space and to avoid scuffing the spare alloy. Michelin Pilot Sports are on the car, an unused Yokohama A539 on the spare.The other non-original items on the car are the Magnex exhaust, T-Bar front strut brace, a JDM spoiler with high/centre brake light, and a Woodsport 6 speed gearbox.
