Work carried out: Every single bush has been replaced, with OEM rubber bushes on all the control arms - including the troublesome spindle pins. all anti rollbar end link/tie rod ends/compression rod bushes etc. Have been replaced, along with gearbox/diff mounts. drives nicely with no knocking/clunks Suspension is height/damping/camber adjustable BC racing coilovers. these were custom ordered with slightly softer 3k/4k spring rates front/rear for a more compliant (yet still firm) ride. Brake system overhaul with reconditioned front callipers, rebuilt brake booster new EBC front discs/pads. Mechanically the car has been gone through to make it a reliable driver. new battery/starter motor. new coil/HT leads/ignition system etc. new sump gasket, valve clearances adjusted, weber DGV carbs rebuilt. oil and filter changes every 3k miles/year. Cooling system overhaul with new water pump, hoses, thermostat, belt and coolant flush. Heater/fan functions as it should. Custom stainless exhaust done in the states - quite loud, but sounds nice. Period 14x7 appliance mesh wheels with yokohama advan hf type d classic performance tyre.
