1986 Toyota Hilux Mk2, 2WD petrol model.Imported from the USA in or around 2014 LHD, auto, with the petrol engine.Fully registered with full UK V5 logbook and keys in hand.Very original, solid looking truck with low miles and hasn't had a hard life like most of these. Was running and driving fine last year, was all on the road a couple of years back, but wont start now, spins over fine but fuel hose is perished or has some crap in it. Will run on easy start. Good reliable engine other wise. Cant see it needing much to put back on the road.Chassis is all strong and solid, the cab has recently had new inner and outer sills fitted.Nice set of alloy wheels. No bed fitted currently, I wanted to do a flat deck as was going to turn it into a drift truck, but I did pull a full coach made aluminium bed off another Mk2 Hilux I had; It fits perfect, its light weight, practical, and I think it suits the truck, so will throw it in for the buyer if they want (just needs bolting down, and cleaning or painting, but lines up fine, and has all fixings, rear light brackets, and a set of mud-gauds in the bed with it).Nice US spec front end with chrome bumper and front splitter.Interior is all complete and looks great, tan interior, lovely original bench seat, very '70's and retro. There is a new pair of retro JDM style wing mirrors included, the original too, a few spares, and yes number plates are there in the cab too.The truck has recently had a paint job. All panels removed, finished in Diamond White. Looks very presentable, but don't expect a concourse job, there will be a few marks, blemishes or defects up close- it was… Continue reading...
