1986 Toyota Supra 3.0i Auto Non Turbo.Very original unmodified example that has been sat in dry storage since 2003. Only uncovered a few weeks ago, we managed to get it running by draining the fuel tank and fitting a new inline fuel pump - engine seems good with no knocking or smoke but will definitely need lots of recommissioning work done before being driven- as you would expect from a car that hasn’t turned a wheel in over 20 years! Engine runs and revs up but splutters after a few minutes possibly lack of fuel / blocked injectors ? Managed to drive it for a short distance and gearbox seemed ok, the front brakes are now well and truly stuck / seized on. Amazingly all the tyres held air. The body has obvious problems but they seem to be mainly superficial with all the wheel archs rusty and the bottom of the passenger door bad. The paint looks original and actually still has a decent shine. Underneath the sills , floors and all front inner wings and axle Mount areas look very solid and it doesn’t look like it’s ever had any mot type repair welding.Interior is very well preserved as you can see and should clean up to be a very nice car.
