Hi and welcome to the sale of my Toyota mr2 turbo, i've owned it about a year from a "garage find" now it is on the road i've found out i simply cannot insure it to use it so it will need to go.Its a 1991 Jap import in 742 green which is a lovely colour in light and darkness, i'm not massively clued up on the mr2 cars etc but it supposedly has the "rarer" half leather interior and the rare fog lights. VERY SOLIDIn my ownership the work i carried out being:New batteryNew fuel pump (what a bugger of a job that was)New throttle cableNew rear light as old one was damagedI put these wheels onNew steering rackNew drivers side track rod inner and outerAnti roll bar drop links frontDrivers shock absorberDrivers ball jointAlternator beltTemperature sensorIt is on the road with 12 months MOT but still needs some jobs doing such as the clutch could do with being done,Clutch is slipping in 4th and 5th if you put your foot down but still drives in traffic fine and will do 70mph happily on the motorway with no issues, i've driven about 255miles in it and had no issues, Temperature stays bang on half the whole time no problems and boost gauge works good as well as fuel gauge. With it having 17" wheels compared to its original wheels the speedo seems to be out by a small amount, if you're going 70mph it will read just over 60mph on the gauge, when you're doing 30mph the gauge will say about 20/25.
