I am regrettably parting ways with my LS400. The reason being, an opportunity came up to purchase a rare GS460, something I have wanted for ages, so had to go for it. Unfortunately the LS has to go to fund that, otherwise I would keep it.It has just gone over 142,000 miles, never misses a beat, I have just been on a 500 mile round trip down south to visit family and it’s been fantastic.It has got extensive service history, paperwork, Lexus booklets and 2 keys.I have always avoided driving in wet weather where possible and I have had the car on my friends ramp and can confirm the car has been under sealed as well.There is no bodywork rust anywhere, the arches which are prone to rusting are absolutely fine! There are minor blemishes if you look hard enough but for 24 years old, it’s well above the expected condition.If I were to keep the car I would probable give it an oil change in the next 1,000 miles or so but apart from that it doesn’t need anything. Tyres are good, brakes are good.It has had a back box delete to open up the V8 sound a little, but is very subtle and no drone at cruising speeds. I have the original Toyota exhaust which is like new.I don’t know what else to mention really. The interior is I’d say 8/10 condition for the age, clearly never been smoked in.But come and have a look, I don’t think you’ll be disappointed!It’s just a lovely, clean, mechanically sound car which should give the next owner plenty of miles of trouble free motoring.P.S. it’s not a DHP model, it has the DHP wheels.
