FOR SALE – 2001 SUBARU FORESTER SPORT TURBO 2.0l 16V AWDI bought the car in 2017. It was always a second car and I bought it to work on and enjoy at the weekends etc. This quickly turned into a love affair and 7 years on I’m still in love but circumstances have changed and it’s time to let this amazing car be loved by someone else. The car only covered on average 3,000 miles a year and the MOT certificates support this. I’m over 50 and drive accordingly, the car has never been driven in anger and has been looked after very well. The work carried out in 2019 until recently is as follows: • Chassis rust removal, multi stage using abrasives, acid, rust converter, stone chip and underseal to detail spec. • 4 new Monroe shock absorbers. Re-powder coated the Pedders springs. All top mounts and bushes reconditioned etc. • Rear suspension arms and linkages all reconditioned including powder coating every component and PowerFlex (purple) polyurethane bushes fitted and new rear wheel bearings. All work carried out by OMA Subaru Specialists. • Fully serviced rear brakes including genuine backing plates, reconditioned handbrake cables and hill start assist mechanism all fully serviced. All work carried out by OMA Subaru Specialists. • Rear brake callipers powder coated red and fully serviced. • Home made exhaust back box heat shield with sound deadening (quieter inside). • New Sachs clutch fitted and front inner CV boots. • Front and rear diffs flushed and fluid replaced with added Slick50 treatment (massive difference, the car became quieter, smoother and more economical). • Front brake callipers fully serviced and painted (red). • 4 wheel laser alignment. • Door cards removed, inner doors cleaned, inspected and clear Waxoyled.
