2001 Toyota MR2 Roadster 1.8 VVTi 16v (Mk3) SMT Gearbox, Red with Factory Hardtop and Immaculate Soft TopMany thanks for taking the time to read my advert. A little bit of history on the car……..It was owned and driven by a local couple who used it occasionally, it was parked up in dry storage early 2018 at which point it was sorned and the MOT therefore lapsed. I purchased the car at the end of 2022 knowing it needed some recommissioning due to the length of time it had been stood. The car was given a general overhaul and during this work i noticed that the rear subframe had excessive corrosion, instead of patching it up I decided that a new subframe was required which was fitted prior to the MOT at considerable expense. At the same time the brakes were dealt with, new discs / pads and calipers were fitted to the rear along with the problematic handbrake cables being replaced and lubricated. There was a dash light present which was due to a faulty oxygen sensor which has now been replaced and the error code cleared. The car has had a full service with all fluids and filters having been replaced prior to the MOT.
