Hello everyone, welcome to my amazing very late 2003 Post-Facelift Lexus LS 430 Ultra Luxury, finished in Silver with Black leather interior.This has been an amazing car to own, the seats are soo comfortable and the engine is silky smooth, just a bit of background on this car during my ownership.I bought the car in spring 2020 and unfortunately almost immediately after purchase the car suffered the only major flaw these cars have which is the integral transmission cooler in the engine radiator had failed dumping all its transmission oil on the road and running dry resulting in a very expensive full transmission rebuild (hence me now having to sell!) Its such a shame as it is a stunning luxury barge that you waft about in true comfort with your drinks cooler in the back and heated reclining massage seats in the rear with cooled and heated seats in the front. The car now drives perfect after its rebuild and has had an external gearbox oil cooler fitted to prevent this disaster happening again thank god!I have also converted the car to conventional struts and springs to add to trouble free motoring, I have the original functional air struts and they are included in the sale along with the fuses and relays to re-activate the air suspension should you wish to. The car handles very well on the conventional struts and is only ever so slightly more firm over bumps, It is a little more noisy over rough roads compared to the original air suspension.There is quite a fair amount of paperwork and a full service book, its clear this car has been well looked after mechanically!There are various other little faults I have corrected in my ownership such as, faulty door lock actuators (very common), blown ML speakers, front… Continue reading...
