From a blistering 280bhp (now increased to a conservative 300bhp), eye catching pod lights, aggressive air intakes and the all important roof vent, this car embodies Subaru rally heritage - the very reason they are recognised the world over. This Classic Gen 1 WRX Type RA can be placed at the very inception of the WRX’s success. Setting the precedent for countless fantastic iterations of these specialist cars, the iconic 4WD drivetrain powered by the EJ20 turbo charged engine has been a recipe for success for just shy of two decades.
