Datsun 280Z   Very worthwhile WINTER Project car, what else are you going to do on these long dark evening! Imported from Dry State of Texas USA. This has to be the cheapest one for sale in anywhere in Europe right now.   The car wants renovation, however I know these cars inside out and this one is solid in all the right places. It needs minimal welding before you start your restoration, or restomod. It’s the one you want S30 Coupe Straight 6 engine Manual GearboxLow mileage car   Do some googling, but essentially the 280Z is the same as the 240Z, and so can be very easily backdated to look like the earlier cars. All the 240 bits, mainly bumpers and lights bolt up with minimal fuss. It can be argued the 280Z is a better basis for a big HP car as the body is torsionally more rigid due to additional cross strengthening and things like front and rear anti roll bars. I found this car in deepest Texas, right near the Mexican border and dragged it back across to LA before shipping it back to the UK (not a cheap exercise these days!)As such this car has never ever seen rain or damp. Comes complete with authentic desert dust! Ideal candidate for RHD conversion as previous owner has started to strip the car and remove the sun-damaged dash. I know a guy who can sell you a good used dash in the UK (not expensive) All the exterior and interior trim parts that have been removed are neatly boxed up and come with it. Headlights and bowls, rear light bezels, front seats, dials, switch gear, etc all there.
