This is an imported Datsun S30 it came from somewhere in the states.Left hand drive.1974 so tax and mot exempt I’m very reluctant to be selling this car as it has been my dream car for over 25yearsUnfortunately I have lost my job and ran into financial problems so the dream has to go.I collected parts to put a 2JZ (non vvti) with rear sump from a supra with the Gettag V161 6 speed gearbox.The engine and gearbox was imported from Japan using a specialist company in Vancouver.The car was complete and the engine has been removed and sold.It’s a project car so I started making a rotisserie for doing all the bodywork. The rotisserie mounting brackets have been made and will go with the car.It’s not perfect but it was the best I could find for under £8000 at the time.The engine had a claimed 39,000 kilometres so I stripped it as soon as it arrived to see if that was accurate and going by the cylinder walls and bearings I’d say it was certainly a very low mileage engine.The plan for that was a single turbo with all the usual mods.I have a stainless steel exhaust manifold for single turbo with a blow off valve.I have a set of race bearingsNew timing belt and adjustable cam sprockets  Continue reading...
