Classic Mitsubishi Colt GLX 1990.One of hardly any left on the road. I bought this last year having owners one when I was young and always wanted another. 52481 miles as of right now but will go up a bit as I do use the car regularly.I do not drive much and only covered about 2500 miles on this time.I serviced it with a mechanic friend last year, changed the brake fluid, have had the headlights wrapped by Zombie Wraps in Chippenham, got some wind deflectors and taken it to Castle Combe race circuit.Only selling because I will have to do a lot more driving and need something more practical for the family.I am only the third owner from new.The car is in amazing condition for the age and was undersealed by the previous owner. They had fitted a new exhaust, radiator and tyres and kept the original stereo (not something you will want to use but part of the vehicle’s history). I am getting 37mpg so for the age of car is good and this is cheap to insure (£110 for me least year).Have just washed and treated with collinite.I will remove the dash cam.It is a 34 year old car so has a couple of bad bits:A bit of damage to the corner of the bonnet, the mud flaps were taken off by previous owner and not going to put them back on due to corrosion on them and they do not appear to be complete.The locks sometimes require a technique to get them to open, worse in cold weather. Slight bits of corrosion here and there but it is old so probably to be expected. Paint has faded a bit, again it is old!Mileage will increase as I am using it regularly. Continue reading...
