Delica campervan.  Rare LWB super exceed model.2.8 diesel automatic.144,000 miles.Vinyl wrapped in matt red.Owned for the last 10 years.  Has been around Europe without fault but the last few years it has barely been used due to us having a large motorhome.  Always starts first time, no smoke, noises.  gearbox is smooth even when coldMOT until september.Has had welding done over the years in the usual delica places but is very solid and undersealed. Most welding has been just general body welding, sills, inner arches etc but over this last year had the front chassis done.  The front chassis legs are a well known weakness on these cars at this age, this was not just plated over but has been properly done, completely cut out and replaced with new steel, huge job but should be good for at least 10 years.  Everything has now been undersealed but any inspection is welcome.Brakes have been overhauled including new pads, shoes and pipes.  New droplinks all round.  Serviced including oil and all filters.  Autobox, transfer box and both axles serviced.Starts and runs perfectly.Front captain seats.  passenger seat swivels, drivers seat can swivel but is awkward to do so I just drop backrest down as in the picture and sit there.Smev sink and hob.New leisure battery.Solar panel.Remote, dimmable lights Electric hook up.Split charging.Coolbox that can run on 12v or hook up.Reversing camera linked to stereo.Rear parking sensors.Remote lockingBAD POINTS.Vinyl wrap was done about 5 years ago.  looks great from a distance but close up there are some bad areas, there are some black streaks which i cant get off with normal cleaning, its been suggested to use brake cleaner or degreaser but im worried it will make it worse so ive just left it.  The wrap is still available so parts of it could be redone. … Continue reading...
