For sale - Mitsubishi Lancer Evo 2 stage rally car ready to go rallying. The Car was built from a 1994 shell which has been strengthened and caged for the sole reason to go rallying. The Mitsubishi's had a fantastic reliability record with the 2.0 Turbo four wheel drive transmission and drivetrain giving the Subaru drivers a headache. This car has the correct 2.0 Evo engine and is running on Motec management system. The car is fitted with anti lag and is a competitive car in its class. The car has just had the RS gearbox and diffs rebuilt so zero miles and all the transmissions have been removed checked and are ready to go back in the car. The car is on Proflex suspension so much improved over the standard Bilsteins that most of these cars are running. The car is running a paddle clutch. Inside the car the seats and belts are all in date, and recent Sparco wheel and has a recent extinguishers. The shell is in good condition due to it only being used for tarmac events since being built with no rot evident. The car has had little use over the last year but previously has been invited to Goodwood Festival of Speed for three years running, Historic rally festival and Carfest.  The car will qualify to do historic events from next year which should raise the value as you can go out to compete against similar machinery. This is a great car to use as it is but could be upgraded to have a dog box etc etcOnly serious enquiries please, this is not your Saturday night on Tesco car park doing donuts vehicle.
