Hi The pictures and video kinda say it all...So if you are looking at this, then you probably already know all about these amazing and relatively "under the radar" vehicles!Whilst they are not exactly the same as a Mitsubishi Evolution X, you can see how they could quite easily be mistaken for each other in many ways visually and performance wise too, you could even describe it perhaps as being slightly more user friendly, especially on our sadly all to restricted UK roads.Plus they are certainly easier to live with, having that genuinely massive hatchback boot space and with it being Mitsubishi's flag ship model, the GSR has literally every single option, satellite navigation, air conditioning, DVD player, music hard drive, folding mirrors, original Evolution X tailored mats all round, automatic Xenon headlights, heated front seats, automatic windscreen wipers and even rear parking sensors!There is of course a comprehensive service history file with the car and knowing these cars as you probably do, they genuinely don't hide well any signs of abuse or neglect either, thus making the obvious tell tale signs of a cherished life very easy to spot, particularly here, as the interior is in absolutely wonderful condition, with the rear seats in particular showing barely any signs of use...The service history is also beyond amazing, with 19 service stamps in the book, together with a file full of supporting invoices, all this really does convey all you need to know about its clearly cherished past ownership!All that said and being very much a detail type person, even with this extensive documented history, I have gone through literally everything mechanical on the car, just for my own peace of mind and here are some of the highlights of the recent work done during my ownership:Major service, all the usual fluids,… Continue reading...
