Lexus GS450h SE-L hybrid auto, first registered 20.12.2006 and finished in Palladio Silver with Grampian full-leather trim. As some of you probably saw, I advertised one of these just before Christmas. It attracted a lot of interest and sold quickly, and I had several enquiries after it had gone from disappointed would-be buyers. The good news, though, is that I’ve managed to get hold of another absolutely stunning example which basically seems right in every respect. As before, it’s not the cheapest and if you are looking to buy purely on price, this isn’t the car for you. If, though, you understand that it is well worth paying a little extra to get something rather special, then it could well be…. In a word, it’s a car that seems to tick pretty-much every box possible. One owner from new – an accountant who, unsurprisingly given his profession, registered it in his company name. It’s also the top-end SE-L specification and comes with all the nice to have stuff on top of the already-generous standard Lexus equipment; stuff like radar-operated cruise control, electronic suspension control, sunroof, reversing camera, satnav and park-aid. It’s also got a complete and comprehensive service history – nine of out twelve services including the last six being by the supplying Lexus dealer, two others are by a Toyota franchise and one, in 2011, was done by an independent. What’s more, the most recent service was on January 4 2023 – just over a fortnight ago – and at the same time the Lexus dealer also MoT’d it (with no advisories) and it passed a Lexus Hybrid Health Check.  So it’s totally 100% ready to go, with all necessary routine maintenance just carried out and none needed for another year or 10,000 miles.
