Subaru Impreza bugeye Having owned this as a second car for over 5 years, its now time to move on.The car has been looked after by the mechanic who built it and on average has been taken to him in Sussex once a year, I was introduced to him when I bought the car. There have been some conservative modifications made to the car by the previous owner, 2.1 Stroker, Pulleys, etc all can be reviewed in the extensive history file.  When I bought it, it made 280bhp as per the rolling road report. I have done nothing to further enhance the performance. I have continued to follow the guidance of the previous owner in terms of service intervals, oils etc. The car has only ever been filled with Shell Vpower nitro + as it has been mapped to higher octane. It is also ALWAYS warmed up for a minimum of 15mins before going on boost and cooled for similar. The gearbox has been treated with the utmost respect and anyone who test drives will quickly notice the smoothness of the shifts The long and short is, the bodywork could really benefit from a tidy up, but the mechanics and running gear are spot on and have been treated with respect.
