This has just failed its MOT, on emissions only, hence the price. I thought it would sail through as it drives great, but it shows you what I know! There is a hole in the exhaust and my garage commented that they feel the CAT has been removed. Clearly, I bought it from a dodgy trader who had done a dodgy MOT on it (more details below on how much I spent to rectify it below), but the MOT I did today revealed he was even more dodgy than I thought! Anyway, my garage suggested few different options of either having a new CAT put on, having a 'DeCAT' exhaust or list the problems and sell it. I'm going for the latter as the choice will be in the eye of the beholder. Apparently putting the CAT back on may reduce some of the horsepower (it's quick) so I don't see the point of me forking out and then you potentially forking out again to reverse it ! Please note the car has been SORNed and it now has a a failed MOT so it can't drive on the road as it stands. It's parked at the back where there is a small private road so it can start up and go up and down that road just to prove to you that it is legit.
