Purchased on the 8th Feb 2018 after a few years without owning a Subaru and Drove all the way back from Scotland to Kent in one day without any issues "Subaru Reliability".I used car on a regular basis until I had the opportunity to purchase a 2000 plate WRX STI JDM Prodrive Style which immediately became my new pride and joy & this Subaru was put into a storage container where it has stayed until now which is approximately 2 years and 3 months. Had been started on a few occasions but nothing regular to be honest but even after 18 months without starting first key turn and back into life.Anyway car is not without it's faults and although it would probably pass an MOT a few issues will definitely need addressing.The front springs have snapped at top mounts but to be honest new suspension all round would be the way to go along with renewing all bushes etcRear arches ideally need replacing as rust has appeared on both although they are fine on the inside.Brakes discs and pads were all replaced when I purchased it and a new clutch had been fitted by the previous owner.The last MOT ran out on the 30th Nov 2020In my opinion, and I have had a few Subaru in my time this car has been looked after and is standard apart from the Moretti Headlights and the Apexi boost guage, the engine is strong with no blue smoke or strange noises, although there is a small coolant leak from the lower part of the left side of the engine which I haven't investigated yet, but suspect one of the unchanged smaller hoses.The car is ready for someone to fully restore and will be an appreciating classic.Please message me for any other information or pictures… Continue reading...
