2009 58 Plate JDM STI 20th Anniversary Edition, One of 300 built, sold exclusively in Japan,                                                             The IMPREZA WRX STI ‘STI 20th Anniversary’ edition was developed around the theme of ‘the pleasure of turning’ to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the founding of STI. Excellent balance was achieved between the car’s ability to respond quickly to a driver’s attempt to turn, and elements of comfort such as ride feel and quietness. Chassis performance was further improved by the adding of dampers and springs, both tuned by STI, STI pillow ball bush rear suspension links, an STI Flexible Lower Arm Bar, and Flexible Tower Bar. In addition to large diameter 245/40R18 tires being fitted to STI 18-inch aluminum wheels, an STI front under spoiler, and a large roof spoiler painted in special matte black created a sharp look.
