What a lovely example this one is! a 1996 Subaru Impreza WRX STI in bright white with the trademark gold alloy wheels. This particular example arrived on these shores in 2001 and has been in the hands of only 4 previous owners. The current keeper has been in possession of this STI for the past 5 years. Current MOT runs until the 10th of May 2024 with no advisories issued. Just 76,000 kilometers from new (47,000 miles!!) with previous MOT's going back to 2004 as well as parts replacement invoices and parts replacement bills. I am a huge fan of these classic Impreza WRX STI's, a good one will make the hairs on the back of your neck stand on end, and this one is no exception. Rare to come across such a low mileage example with very minimal modifications. This STI still has the correct OEM suspension, turbo, exhaust, ECU ect. Not one that's been used and abused by the 'boy racer brigade'. The only aftermarket additions are; pod gauges on the drivers side pillar, electric valve controller, aftermarket stereo and Clifford alarm system. To drive? Absolutely superb! These classic WRX STI's are so engaging to drive, sharp throttle response, comes on boost strong, no smoke or anything untoward under load, signature exhaust burble, excellent weight to the steering, positive clutch and gearbox combination and an unparalleled driving experience. Suffice to say she starts, idles, accelerates (boy does it!), handles and brakes all as you would expect, and possibly better. Bodywork is straight and honest for its years, no nasty dents or unsightly scratches to mention. The rear arches have been done in the past and the lips have been treated to prevent anything coming back.
