Subaru Legacy 2006 Twinscroll Spec B 360bhp and new motor2006 JDM Spec B, pre face lift.The clocks are on al little over 137k miles, along with the shell and pretty much everything else has been changed! This is a mix of km and miles, it was imported on 65,000 km in 2016 (still have a copy of the original purchase receipt).Over that time it's been looked after by the right places (RCM, David Hendry, Pole Poistion, Indigo GT) and had A LOT of money spent keeping it in good condition.I'll try and cover the mods, but will no doubt miss some :-Engine - recently swapped to a 70,000 miles engine from an auto, vf45 turbo (60,000 miles), AVO turbo world intercooler (50% thicker and no plastic end tanks), Process West STI CAI, Hayward and Scott turbo back system with sports cat, Blitz aluminium radiator (again about 50% thicker than standard and no plastic), cool runing thermostat, new cambelt and water pump fitted, group engine N mounts and pitch stopper, grimm speed 3 port boost control solenoid. She has been mapped to this setup by Duncan at RaceDynamix to 274 whp (around 360 bhp). For reference, a fresh import spec B auto (just a cat back fitted) was tuned the car before mine on the rollers and made 225 whp. +50whp over a tuned standard car is pretty tasty!Suspension - Front shocks were replaced about 4 years ago with new bilsteins. She is also on sti pinks. The rear ARB has poly mounts toos. The front suspension has poly bushes on the mounting points.Brakes - Bremos front & rear with braided brake lines. Rear brembos have just been rebuilt and fitted with new discs and pads.Drivetrain - original Spec B tranny was swapped out, it was on it's way out. Now… Continue reading...
