Im looking to sell my 1992 Subaru Sumo.. UK van....  She's in quite good condition as they dont seem to rust as bad as other Sooty vans......... She has Switchable 4WD  ........... And coil spring independent suspension all round and a separate chassis.She has the 1.2 three cylinder engine used in the Subaru Justy but fitted at The rear like a VW ...The engine is very smooth on the run and starts easily, shes only done about 62.5k miles..Other good points are........simple wind up windows, lack of modern sensors, no radio (  i use a transistor..)  5 speed gearbox, good heater, 2 sets of keys, original tools in their bag, plus comprehensive factory workshop manual.Subaru 4WD vans have great off-road capability  ( Look online.), ..... Also they are economical with cheaper tax compared to other Normally larger 4WD's .........Im thinking the High top makes the van suitable for  micro camper conversion..  She did a trip to Switzerland in 2020 acting as a camper ).. Sumo,s have been sold in lots of different countries with different names both as 4wd and 2wd. ...... Ive put a list of other names at the bottom of ad..  Japanese mini trucks / vans are quite sort after these days with lots being imported.. This van is a Uk van and not an import.she is listed as a van with widows on the v5 ..( I have the complete v5 with new keeper supplement ). .....I have her taxed and moted 22/12/22 and insured with ( Agreed value classic insurance. £140 ) shes in weekly use,.. Regarding past / Historic MOT history ..  The sump HAS been replaced to fix an oil leak. Some coolant pipes were replaced ,..... The tyres were replaced and have very light wear.......Historic damage  to the front panel and bumper HAS been professionally repaired ,..These vans… Continue reading...
