Being the later rarer Series 2 model, this JZX100 Chaser features the nicer bumpers, fog lights, later interior etc. Car spent all of its life in Japan as an automatic, until it was imported to the UK earlier this year where we have carried out a manual conversion using all original Toyota parts, including a low mileage original JZX100 R154 gearbox and new OEM clutch. 237km/148k miles, drives like a car with less than half the miles. 1JZ-GTE sounds very quiet and smooth, pulls well and has recently had the cambelt changed. Suspension is smooth with no knocks or bangs. Underneath is exceptionally clean with no rust. Tyres are new Yokohama Fleva all round on original staggered rims with full size spare. Completely standard car, even down to the original airbox and exhaust. Ideal blank canvas for someone to start modifying or even keep standard and enjoy as is. Being original it can also be imported into many strict European countries and as this is a September 1998, it is now legal for USA import also.
