Toyota Hilux For Sale

Up for sale is my 1998 Hilux ln165 4x4 double cab. It’s a fantastic truck and one of the last of the proper Hilux that will just keep on going for years. I was planning on keeping this for good, hence the below works that have been carried out. However, I have come to the conclusion lately that I don’t particularly need it, and a single cab would suit better if I do find that I require a pickup to transport my bikes.Mechanically - Starts on the button, drives fantastic, gearbox/ clutch is nice and tight, 4wd all works fantastic in high and low. The engine ticks over lovely. It’s always had a very slight blow from the exhaust manifold gasket which I was going to get done when I first bought it, however I have always forgotten to ask for this to be done whenever it’s been in the garage. It doesn’t cause any problems, it just makes a slight t-t-t-t noise. It has steel modular wheels fitted, the tyres are ever so slightly perished from not being used much however they have loads of life left. The spare is the original Toyota alloy with a good tyre that holds air.Electrics and interior - all electrics work apart from the interior clock. It’s got an aftermarket headunit with Bluetooth so it plays music off your phone and answers calls. Door speakers have been upgraded to fli speakers so the sounds pretty good for an old Hilux. The interior light has been changed for a led one, so again a very convenient improvement. Central locking works well on all doors with original key fob. It has the original seats which are in fantastic condition, no rips or tears.
