Toyota MR2 Revision 1 4 previous owners to me two sets of keys cobra alarm system factory fitted exhaust systemRev 3/4/5 genuine toyota mr2 alloy wheels 205/50/15 front 225/50/15 rear .the engine feels strong and has a nice vvt crossover as you'd expect .the gearbox is incredibly tight for the age also .the previous owner stated him and his brother rebuilt the engine 5 years ago before dry storing and the block and sump have been painted so it does seem a genuine statement . Registered new in the Jersey isles until 2009 where it was imported to southern England The car then lived in Scotland where in the last 10 years it has been dry stored in the highlands and completely covered in a salt free atmosphere . I have recently bought this car to restore and make roadworthy again , all the car needed was fresh NGK iridium spark plugs , 98 Ron unleaded and the standard airbox refitting and a good drive , two sidelight bulbs also for mot , the car initially failed on emissions due to burning off old fuel from five years previously , once the fresh fuel came through the system the car then passed emissions no issue at all , the car had two mot advisories one for brake pipes and another for a weathered tyre .important to note that this car has never been welded or crashed and is fully hpi clear, as can be seen by all previous MOT's that there has never been an advisory for corrosion which is common on this age of Japanese car . The t-top 100% does not leak either as I have had the car outside for one or two days and its rained with zero water ingress .the only thing I would mention is there is a small amount of oil… Continue reading...
