Toyota MR2 For Sale

I am trying to downsize my personal classic car and bike collection and so now offer for sale my Japanese import MR2 GT, W20, Rev 3, Twin-entry Turbo which has been re-designed in a tribute to Ferrari's F355.The car was first registered in Japan in 1993 and imported into the UK in June of 1998. It has had 5 owners and shows 117,000 miles on the clock although this is a mixture of Kilometres and miles.I believe the conversion to be a Roy Kelly build according to the gentleman I bought the car from four years ago. He had owned it since 2010 and the previous owner since 2006.The car appears to have spent most of it's UK life in Wales.When I got the car it wasn't in the best of condition but I saw something that I wanted to put my personal stamp on as I had owned a genuine Ferrari F355 GT twenty five years ago. In my ownership the car has had a total make over and restoration, including a full body respray in Rosso Corsa red. The majority of the work was done in 2021, although I have continued to improve and tinker with it throughout my ownership. (I have quite a number of pictures of the process) During the process the chassis has been strengthened and welded and fully Ziebarted for future protection.The interior has also undergone a total transformation as you can see in the interior pictures above, the leather seats and interior panels have been fully reconalised in black. The car is, now, in exceptional condition throughout.The car is powered by a  2.0 Litre, 3S-GTE twin entry Turbo engine developing approximately 240 BHP which according to Toyota's official stats returns a 0-60 time of just under 6 seconds, As a Japanese import the car has a higher… Continue reading...
