Toyota MR2 For Sale

Toyota MR2 Mk1 1.6 1989 76500 miles.Fresh MOT no advisories. I have owned this car for 10 years, during this time it has been garaged and maintained by myself.  Selling due to having purchased a second car, and running out of space in the garage.Some of the maintenance it has had is as follows:Timing belt and tensioner replaced at 67026 miles 27/07/11New 70A alternator installed 03/10/14New Rear tyres fitted Goodyear efficient grip 30/05/2014 at approx 72000 milesNew air filter installed 05/06/14 approx 72000 miles.New front tyres Goodyear efficient-grip fitted + tracking c/o 22/12/2016 at approx 72500 milesA new Aisin clutch was installed 21/01/17 approx 73000 miles+ new clutch master cylinder.Coolant flushed and renewed with Ethylene Glycol Toyota Red 11.5 litres plus new thermostat installed. 29/12/21Last oil and filter change, Mobil 10w 40 and genuine Toyota oil filter. 29/12/21Tyres are still in very good condition with lots of tread.Fitted new horns.x4 internal speakers replaced with new.Corrosion removed from rear end (approx 4") of Outer sills and new metal welded in place. This was required to pass MOT, as it was within 30cm distance of the suspension mounting which is a prescribed area. This is the only welding the car has required, carried out on the 28/08/23.It has a folder full of history, with MOT's going back to 1993. It has had a change of number plate at some stage in its life. A previous owner used a private plate, and then switched to the current standard plate for the year. Fitted with locking wheel nuts complete with corresponding socket.It does have age related marks, and areas of mismatched/cracked paint in the forward lower sections under the front bumper, also there is some paint bubbling on the left rear wheel arch as shown in photos, wheels are a bit untidy, with scuff… Continue reading...
