Toyota MR2 For Sale

I have owned this car for a year and a half. It was a fun car to drive when I’ve had the chance. However, due to a change in circumstances and the fact I don’t really use the car that often, the time has come to now part way’s with the MR2. The car has part service history including loads of previous MOT’s and a large quantity of receipts. In addition, the car has had 7 previous owners before me. Included in the sale will be some replacement parts for the car, explained below. Good Points: l Part Service history which includes some reciept’s.l Previous owner told me the car had an engine rebuild at some point. I believe it was in around 2014 as that was when the cambelt was last done although there are some further receipts from 2016 that include a manifold gasket.l Has some other historic document’s including a Toyota brochure from 1986 and a map of all the unleaded petrol station’s circa 1989. l Recent welding has been done on the the rear wheel arches and a section of the front subframe, worth over £2000.l Wheel’s have been recently diamond-cut.l Fairly new Varta battery installed.l Electric Windows and Leather Seat’s.l Last year, I replaced the driver’s side window cog as the window was previously jerky as I raised/lowered it.l Original Stereo.l Spare Part’s supplied with the sale including new brake pads (Front and Rear), spare throttle cable, front and rear anti roll bar drop link’s, new water pump, thermostat and new belt.l In addition, a Superpro Bush Kit will be included in the sale.  Bad Points: l Small oil leak and some degree of age-related corrosion at the front of the car was reported on previous MOT.l Passenger-side window seals have most likely perished in places as I have noticed a bit of leaking on that side of the car.l Some minor paint cracks… Continue reading...
