Welcome to the reluctant sale of my 1987 MR2 MK1b. It is in excellent original condition, all the way down to its Tunbridge Wells Toyota supplying dealer plates.Finished in Super White, it has covered 67K miles which can be verified via its MOT and service history. As you would expect of a well maintained, low mileage car, the engine pulls like new and the gearbox is slick and precise with no vibration or jumping out of 5th gear. The car starts first time, idles smoothly at 800rpm and races up to the redline in all gears. There are no oil or fluid leaks, and all fluids, filters and plugs were changed last year. Timing belt was very recently changed at 64,832 miles. All receipts are present.The exterior bodywork is in very good condition. It looks as good in the flesh as it does in the photos. The alloys are fully refurbished and unmarked. The car benefits from having all the correct period decals and stripes. The car is used 2-3 times a week in the summer and as such there are minor blemishes and stone chips to the paintwork. Underneath it is in very good, solid condition and not covered in underseal.
