Sadly it is time to part with our lovely Totota MR2 Mk3 roadster.Silver metallic paint with red leather interior (probably the best colour combination). Documented 69K miles from new, with 9 service stamps in the book. All original manuals and loads of history and receipts. 1 remote central locking key plus one backup manual key.This car has the 5 speed sequential manual transmission (SMT), which is a standard MR2 gearbox with a hydraulic shift operated from the gear selector and/or buttons on the steering wheel rather than a conventional clutch pedal and gear lever. It's an absolute blast to drive and gives a 'mini supercar' feel which really matches the mid-engine layout and styling. The car is in good condition inside and out and drives brilliantly. Look closely enough and you will find a number of chips, marks, and scratches but it is all fair wear and tear for the age.The car is in good original condition and has suffered no major issues that we are aware of. Maintenance jobs that we have evidence for are:Brake hoses and pads changedPre-cats removed (this is important to have done on the Mk3 MR2s - you can read about it online)New clutch fittedOxygen sensors changed x3New handbrake cables and rear calipersGearbox oil changed4 matched Uniroyal Rainsport tyresLast service was July 2022, MOT runs until 23rd July 2023. We top up the engine oil every 2-3 months, but otherwise the car gives very little trouble.If you have read the reviews you will know that the MR2 roadster has no boot as such - just a space behind the rear seats and a small compartment in the front bonnet.
