Toyota MR2 For Sale

For sale my rev 2 mr2 turbo which i have owned since 2005, I'm the 4th owner, and was purchased from someone i know well and he had the car for 3 years.The car was written off in late 2004 because someone decided to kick the side panel on drivers side (boot area) insurance company wrote it off as the body shop quoted £2000 to repair and car was valued at £4000, he bought the car back from insurance and was using it for a while, he then bought an evo so he offered me a deal on the car I have old mots dating back to 2004 to prove mileage as the online checked only starts from 2009, the year I stopped using the car, there is a binder full of paperwork for the car .There was an issue with misfiring and a fuel problem, so I stopped using the car and was using my other turbo more, then I had a BMW M3, then went to a Toyota hilux surf 4x4, so the car was stored away until late 2017 when I managed to get a new fuel tank from a member off IMOC (mr2 car club) and there was a new walbro 255 lt/h, I fitted this myself and when it was all back and working ok I spotted a coolant leak from above the fuel tank so again I left it alone and would come back to it again during the pandemicThen in early 2021 I decided to get Rogue motorsport ( https://www.roguemotorsport.com/ ) to do a full inspection on the car for any mechanical and electrical problems and any sign of rust.(this was a 2 hr inspection or £170) The car had no rust and the sills are in good original condition, they also did… Continue reading...
