Toyota Corolla For Sale

So up for sale is a Toyota TE71 Levin liftback, 1982 with an Beems blacktop engine swap, i had this imported a couple years back, by a company called far east classics. unfortunately its become apparent i'm not really in a financial postion to be running a classic car..so about the car, its been modified a fair amount, it has a Beems blacktop engine swap to start, with a 6 speed gearbox from a toyota altezza, making roughly 200-220 hp runs smoothy and starts easy every time.it has a stainless Jasma manifold, and stanless exhaust, not sure of the brand, but sounds fun, an ARC radiator, HKS inlet manifold.i've spent ages stripping out all the tar sound proofing stuff from inside, and rust treating and painting the inside.i've fitted a four point roll cage and Luke 4 point harnesses, it also has Bride seats, but i'm pretty sure they're knock offs it has Watanabe style wheels, that say AR on them and toyo proxis tyres, to be honest it could do with some lower profile tyres on the back, as tyres rub a little if you go over bumps.Body work is all pretty good, theres a couple of small holes in the footwells, but anything that was a problems been sorted, unfortunately the paint work on the roof isn't great, i'm hoping to get this sorted over the next couple of weeks, but if not, we can talk about this in relation to the price.keep in mind this is a modified car from 1982, its fairly tidy for the age, and there's very little rust, but its pretty clunky and noisy, and things rattle around, some of the window gaskets leak a bit, and not everything in the dash works, as it now has a much more modern engine, in theory… Continue reading...
