If you've ever had a read through our FAQs (you really should check them out) you'll know that when uploading an advert to our website, you can choose up to six images to feature alongside it.
Due to server limitations and to ensure the speed of our website to all of our visitors, we have to limit file sizes to 2MB (megabytes) per image. For the majority of people, this isn't a problem - most basic digital cameras and smartphones take photos less than 2MB in size - so you can just take a picture, upload it with your advert, and you're done!
However, for those of you with slightly higher specification cameras, you may find a typical photo is in the 3-8MB range. But don't worry, we've got a solution just for you...
We've recently introduced an online Image Editor, powered by Pixlr.com, that you can use free of charge to modify your photographs. Along with basic tools to resize and compress your images to reduce the file size, you can even go ahead and add an assortment of adjustments to your photographs including cropping, brightness/contrast, saturation, and a whole lot more.
