Don't you just love boring weekends at home? No? Well, it usually means a perfect excuse to go trawling through YouTube digesting all manner of new videos for me.
This weekend I discovered an episode of a new-ish show called "Strippers: Cars for Cash". I don't watch enough TV to have caught this the first time it was broadcast, but this particular episode caught my eye.
Why? Because it featured two legendary Japanese performance cars, the Subaru Impreza and the Mitsubishi Evo.
The subject matter of the show may not be to everyone's liking seeing as the premise is to buy a car as cheap as possible, strip it down, and flog the parts - all the time turning as much profit as possible.
But, if doing so prolongs the lifespan of many more cars, then I guess we can condone sacrificing a few vehicles to the scrapyard in the sky.
If your much-loved motor isn’t looking a million dollars, don’t despair – spare parts don’t have to mean broken hearts.
From mashed-up Minis to sorry-looking Subarus, join two teams of qualified London breakers as they go head-to-head in a bid to turn piles of scrap into piles of cash.
